BRIDSON, AUDREY: On January 31, 2016 our mother and grandmother, Audrey Bridson (Timlin) left this world peacefully with her granddaughters Kaley & Kelsey Williams holding her hand. She will be sorely missed by her daughter Beth Williams who was blessed to have had a mother who lived her ninety-five years with such optimism and sheer will. Audrey will be reunited with her husband Benton (Bob), her sister Norma Earl and parents Laura and Frank Timlin. Audrey grew up in the Peterborough area becoming a teacher at eighteen years of age. Leaving her one room school house she became a teacher in St. Catharines and was employed by the Lincoln County School Board until she retired. She took great pride in her chosen profession, was a member of Grantham and Carleton United Church, loved to read, was an avid seamstress and delighted in spending time with her granddaughters. She was an extraordinary mother and grandmother and it will be difficult to fill the void she has left us.
To the staff at Chartwell Niagara in Niagara-on-the-Lake, we thank you for your many years of kindness, tolerance and compassion. You have become a part of our family!
In lieu of flowers, in celebration of Audrey's love of animals, and for the value of all seniors, we ask that donations be made to Chartwell Niagara Long Term Care Residence, Niagara-on-the-Lake, to assist with their purchase of a service dog to enrich the lives of their residences.
