<div itemprop="description">MALCOLM, Geraldine (Geri) <br /> <br />Passed away at Niagara Health System Hospital in St. Catharines on Sunday January 31, 2016 in her 90th year. Geraldine Malcolm (nee Doiron) beloved wife of the late Charles Stuart Malcolm. Survived by daughters Audrey (Richard Copeland) and Diane ( Robert Jukes) and, brother Maurice Doiron and sister Teresa Daigle and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son the late Charles Stuart Malcolm (2010). <br />Geraldine is survived also by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. <br /> <br />The Copeland family includes Tara (Stuart Rhoades), Adam (Filipa), Jerusha (Jason Vom Scheidt), Benjamin (Alyson) and Virginia Copeland (Ryan Karpluk). Great grandchildren Dylan and Sophie Rhoades, Amelia, Liam and Andrew Copeland, Noah and Neve vom Scheidt and Addington Copeland. <br /> <br />The Jukes family includes Michelle (Jim Denham) Darren (Carin), Stephen (Cindy). With grandchildren Victoria (Keith Stouffer), Katharine Cowan (Cal Privett), Robbie and William Denham, Declan and Lauren Jukes, Penelope and Mason Jukes and great-great grandchildren Myles and Eli Stouffer. <br /> <br />Geri worked for the Royal Bank at the Grantham plaza in the 60&rsquo;s and taught French for the St. Catharines Catholic School Board through the 70&rsquo;s and 80&rsquo;s. She was an active member in the Probus Club and the Retired Teachers group (RTO), especially enjoying Bridge and Euchre. She took her losses in Scrabble with grace and had bid and made a small slam last Thursday. <br /> <br />Geri was vibrant and energetic and never stopped accomplishing throughout her retirement years. She was a writer of two children&rsquo;s stories and had written and published a cookbook in support of the fight against ALS, a disease which took her younger sister Jean. Geri was a story teller of many accents and gestures, filled with joy and humour she has entertained and set an example for four generations of greatly appreciative descendants. She will be so sorely missed. <br /></div>
