Loving mother of Susanne and her husband David Taylor, Diane and her husband Michael Shirchenko, RoxAnne Youngren and John and his wife Jodi Rutkay. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Deborah, Kenneth, Darryl, Judy, Christopher, Angela, Nicholas, Peter Karl, Racheal, Marcus, Stephanie, Veronica and Amy and 14 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sister, Anne Stinchcombe and brother Peter and his wife Luba Laychak. Sister-in-law to Julie Rutkay.&nbsp; Mary Rutkay is resting at the Niagara Chapel of Butler Funeral home, St. Catharines @ 424 Niagara Street, (south of Scott Street) where the family will welcome friends on Thursday, January 24th from 7-9pm. Her Funeral Service will be held at same location Friday, January 25th at 11:00am. Interment at Lane Cemetery, St. Ann's, ON. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Walker Cancer Centre, St. Catharines or to the Dr. Rosenberg Diabetic Foot Clinic are appreciated. Butler 905-646-6322.&nbsp; The children extend their heartfelt gratitude for the incredible sensitivity and care given to their mother by Drs. Levesque, Lennard, Arventi and Murray during these past seven months. The support of the CCAC, St. Elizabeths, Para Meds and Red Cross staff made a tremendously difficult journey possible to fulfill mom's only request to be allowed to pass at home with her family. </p> </div>
